It seems like the buzz around Orlando (and maybe even globally) is all about Epic Universe, set to launch on May 22nd at Universal Orlando. Since its 2019 announcement, this is the first new theme park opening in the area in over 25 years.

Epic Universe is a massive development, covering 750 acres, with five uniquely themed lands, and three new hotels. Not only will it offer visitors a fantastic experience, but it's also expected to significantly boost the local economy.

This fresh addition is poised to create over 17,500 jobs across the U.S. in its first year. Beyond the park gates, Epic Universe is set to bring in $2 billion for Florida, as visitors spend on hotels, dining, and shopping.

Universal and Disney may compete, yet they thrive together. A new attraction like Epic Universe draws more visitors, often boosting attendance at Disney World too.

In just a few years, Universal Orlando has already had a $44 billion economic impact, with Epic Universe contributing an $11 billion boost nationwide. As the area thrives, more growth and experiences will likely follow, making Orlando more exciting than ever.

What’s your take on Epic Universe's debut? Are you eager to visit? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
