EPCOT Sinkhole

I guess this shouldn't be surprising because Florida is known for being wet and swampy, but did you all know about the EPCOT sinkhole?? I just found out. I even went to Snopes to confirm it wasn't just another Disney myth or legend. Apparently Disney couldn't build anything on top of it so they just covered it with steel and filled it with water to make a lake.

Soooo, you're saying DON'T drop anything in the lake at EPCOT because you might never see it again.

Florida has a lot of sinkholes - so yeah EPCOT can't build on that part of the sinkhole, but that's alright, that's why I say drink a margarita and go left when you get to World Showcase, cause it could get swallowed at anytime.

I know anything can happen, but surely Disney wouldn't invest BILLIONS of dollars without knowing for sure how likely a sinkhole would swallow up buildings, and potentially guests.
