It’s that time again, folks, time to visit the delinquents.
Oh no, not again!
I’m sure they’ve been up to lots of nonsense like usual, and I’m here to catch them in the act! So get in your tiny cars and grab your tiny cameras…we’re going to the Tiny Train Town in EPCOT.
If you’ve been following these Tiny Train Town updates for a while, you may remember me begging the powers that be to get a chessboard for the wannabe chess club. There was a group of four retired men trying to start it up, and now it seems they have been SUCCESSFUL. Unfortunately for them, a 12-year-old girl is about to whoop all of their tails. She’s a chess prodigy, and they’ve been lining up to play her this week. I stopped by during the final match of the tournament (which she was winning), and a large crowd had gathered to watch.
I’m so excited for them!
Around these parts, Debbie is known for spreading some pretty wild stories (she has been like this since high school, trust us), and her latest claim to fame is that she has spotted a UFO flying over Tiny Train Town. She has been sitting on this bench for three days now, trying to snap a picture for proof. We’d normally think she’s just crying wolf, but Debbie has never been this dedicated to a cause in her life. Could there really be ALIENS in our village?!
(And if there are aliens in the village, where do you think they came from? Are these the ones from Stitch’s Great Escape?)
Maybe don’t talk to her…
In a wild turn of events, the herd of sheep that lives in the mountains has started dueling each other, and one was recently pushed off the edge of the cliff. This is particularly unusual behavior for the normally docile animals, and local shepherds are investigating. It seems we could have another strain of dangerous livestock disease on our hands…is this MAD SHEEP DISEASE?!

Finally, I stopped by one of our local gas stations to find that it had been abandoned after going out of business. Now, there’s a vacant building in town for a new business owner to purchase! If you’ve got a business idea that you think could perform well in the village, contact the mayor’s office, and we’ll get you the real estate information. We’d love to have some new small businesses in town!

Thanks for coming along with me on this wild tour around town! Of course, if we learn of any more ridiculous happenings, we’ll keep you in the loop.
* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.
