The Walt Disney Company has been a leading provider of products, entertainment, and experiences for over 100 years. Known for its influential presence in entertainment, Disney's reputation has always attracted both passionate fans and critics. Recently, Disney's standing in the Axios Harris Poll 100 has taken a hit. Placing 76th out of 100 this year, Disney has dipped nine spots from its previous ranking, mainly due to declines in trust, character, and citizenship scores.

This shift might be linked to controversies such as reactions to the live-action "Snow White" remake and changes in DEI standards. Interestingly, Disney's current score of 69.7 is lower than when it ranked 77th in 2023, making it the fourth highest in terms of reputation score decline since 2019.

The top companies in this year’s rankings are Trader Joe’s, Patagonia, Microsoft, Toyota, and Costco. At the bottom are Wells Fargo, Meta, X (formerly Twitter), The Trump Organization, and Spirit Airlines.

With Disney debuting new plans for parks, films, and shows, it will be intriguing to see if their standing improves. Stay tuned with us for all the latest updates on Disney.
