Welcome to the Disney's PopCentury Resort FAQ thread! This is a place for questions, pictures, tips, and general excitement!

I love staying at Pop Century, especially now that the Skyliner connects you to multiple parks, like EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.

Buildings at Pop Century

Room types

The rooms were renovated a few years ago. A hard floor was used instead of carpet, with storage under the beds. Also, a Murphy bed that can be put up during the day for additional room was introduced.

I love the over-the-top theming, almost tacky - but I love the larger-than-life characters.

I just got back from spending one night at POP Century.

I was in the main building, which had a 1950s theme. It was close to the front bus stop and Petal's pool bar, which offers 24-hour access to its soda fountain if you buy a mug, which I did.

Look at this stunning view early in the morning.

I've never stayed in a room with these Alexa-style devices. I turned it on to Disney music as I got ready to rope drop.

I was able to get almost nine hours of sleep on this bed. It was comfortable but not too plush. I like a firm but slightly plush bed, and this one delivers in spades.
It doesn't hurt to have all those pillows and a nice Mickey picture above the bed!

There is a beverage fridge, and I was able to store my leftovers from stopping at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian Resort just fine.

Protip: I did book this room using Priceline, which listed it at $170 for one night. However, when I looked on the Disney website, I did not see it listed.
I was flying from California and booked this just moments before getting on the plane. I could use the confirmation that Priceline gave and connect it to MyDisneyExperience app, so it was all lined up when I went through the gate.

I love the Skyliner access, and in the morning I headed right there with minimal wait even as the line was long and offputting when I first saw it.
