June is right around the corner, and Disney World is gearing up for some HUGE changes early in the month. From major refurbishments kicking off, the retheming of an EPCOT favorite, to the beginnings of a farewell to DinoLand, U.S.A in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, 2025 has been eventful at Disney World, and we're only halfway through the year. With June bringing more big changes and announcements, it's an exciting time for Disney fans.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is set for a dramatic transformation with the arrival of the new Monsters, Inc. Land, set to replace Muppets Courtyard. Sadly, the Muppets will soon be saying goodbye. June 7th will be your last chance to enjoy Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo before they're permanently replaced.
Starting June 8th, we'll be watching closely for updates on the progress of Monsters, Inc. Land's construction and what visitors can expect once it opens.
There’s also buzz around The Muppets' future in Hollywood Studios, with the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster being rebranded from Aerosmith to The Muppets. We expect to hear more about the timeline and details soon. Also, Disney hinted that Muppet*Vision 3D might be commemorated in some new format. Whether that will be a special on Disney+ or something else remains to be seen.
