The Walt Disney World Monorail System is a beloved feature at Disney World, having welcomed scores of guests since its grand opening in October 1971. Now, it's time for another exciting update!
The Monorail System transports about 22 million guests each year, and as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, a feature was added to light up the track at night. Now, it’s getting another enhancement: each train's logo will glow in the dark starting this week.
We're thrilled to catch a glimpse of this new glow-in-the-dark logo! The monorail connects various destinations, including the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and EPCOT. Be sure to keep an eye out for this exciting change!
