Disney World water parks offer plenty to enjoy: lounging by the water, thrilling rides, and endless drink refills with those iconic mugs. While often beloved, these mugs can sometimes disappoint. But it's hard to top unlimited refills when you’re relaxing by the beach.
Typhoon Lagoon is open again, while Blizzard Beach is briefly closed for refurbishment. Both parks will be open by May 21st. However, there's disappointing news for refillable mug fans—these mugs aren't currently available at the water parks, only at Disney World hotels.
The mugs, once a hydration lifeline, could be refilled free throughout the day, proving economical. They're still available at hotels and in Disney Dining Plans. While some soda machines are closed due to past bee issues, the Miss Tilly Sipper Cup can be used at Typhoon Lagoon for $22.49 with all-day refills.
We're hopeful this isn't a permanent change. Disney's always evolving, and refillable mugs might make a comeback. Do you miss the refillable mug option at the water parks? Share your thoughts!
