Exciting developments are underway at Magic Kingdom! Frontierland is welcoming a *Cars* expansion, and a new villains-themed land is set to debut behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which itself is due for an extensive refurbishment. Plus, fantasy meets reality as a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern gets the green light in Adventureland. A recent permit signals that Disney is close to replacing the old Pirates League sign with one for the new tavern.
The tavern, expected to open late 2025, will offer food, drinks, and some "magical surprises." It seems the venue will take space from both the Pirates League area and part of the Plaza del Sol Caribe gift shop.
