A Disney Imagineer just shared insights about the upcoming Tropical Americas-themed land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, called Pueblo Esperanza, set to open in 2027. Construction has already commenced, with the initial closures taking place in DinoLand, U.S.A., earlier this year.

The new land will celebrate the Tropical Americas through themes from "Encanto" and "Indiana Jones." Expect two signature attractions, a carousel, and a large quick-service dining spot. Joe Rohde recently posted about attending a Maya archaeological conference, featuring insights into the conceptual development of a Maya temple for the park.

It's exciting to learn about the team's efforts to accurately portray the Tropical Americas. I can't wait to see what's in store for Pueblo Esperanza. What are you most looking forward to in this new Disney expansion? Share your thoughts!
