When it comes to Disney, they don't shy away from bold moves, and the latest news about the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser turning into office space is a prime example. It's sparking debate among fans, often referred to as Disney Adults.

If you’ve been keeping track, you’ll know the immersive and pricy Star Wars hotel didn’t quite take off as intended. Now, less than two years after its debut, Disney's repurposing it for office use. This decision has us wondering about the future of this unique space where guests once experienced a full-fledged Star Wars adventure.

On our Facebook page, we posed the question: “How do YOU feel about the Galactic Starcruiser transitioning to Disney offices?” The reactions were diverse, with some of you seeing potential benefits while others lamented missed opportunities.

Some folks think the transformation is a savvy move. Leann remarked, "I think it’s a great idea... Imagine working in such a magical environment." For Disney staff, holding meetings on a starship bridge could be a dream come true. Similarly, Sue said, “At least they're using the space instead of tearing it down.”

Yet, some fans wish the Galactic Starcruiser stayed a Star Wars hotel but with more affordable rates. Julie pointed out, “It should have remained a themed hotel, but less expensive.”

Others believe it's a lost opportunity to expand the Star Wars universe in the parks. Martha thinks Disney missed a chance to integrate the space into something like Galaxy's Edge, and Kelly suggested a themed restaurant or dinner theater could’ve been a better use.

Despite mixed feelings, some people at least appreciate the space not going to waste. As Shawn noted, “At least it’s being used for something productive.”

What do you think about Disney's decision to convert the Galactic Starcruiser into office spaces? Do you see it as smart repurposing, or do you side with those who think more could be done? We'd love to hear your take in the comments!
