For the past eight months, Disney World fans have been buzzing with excitement over major changes coming to Hollywood Studios. The Grand Avenue area, including beloved spots like Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose's, is set to transform into a new Monsters, Inc.-themed land. While we're thrilled about Monstropolis and its long-awaited attractions, we'll miss the iconic Muppet area.

Before bidding farewell to Muppet Courtyard, let's savor some of its delightful hidden Muppet easter eggs. At Muppet*Vision 3D, the queue is packed with subtle jokes and references, like the security window's "Back in 5 minutes — key is under the mat" sign. True to its word, a key can be found under the mat. Another clever nod to Disney's past can be found with the "A net full of Jello" in the pre-show room, a nod to Annette Funicello.

Over at PizzeRizzo, Rizzo the Rat's humor shines through with quirky signage and amusing décor. Be sure to catch these easter eggs before Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo close on June 8th. If you're planning a visit, consider wearing the perfect 'Rat Pizza' tee as a fun send-off.

Additionally, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, while not officially Muppet-themed, adds its own charm to the farewell. Originally part of a grand Muppet Land plan, this restaurant will close its doors even sooner, on May 10th.

Despite these endings, Muppet fans can look forward to the Muppets’ "takeover" of the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster. We hope the legacy of the original Muppets area continues in new ways.
