Streaming services are evolving quickly. Remember when Netflix seemed like the only option? Those days are long gone. We've got a slew of choices now, with Disney+ and Hulu leading the pack. While Amazon’s Prime Video is mostly tied to the allure of free shipping, it also offers streaming services—and until soon, it included Freevee, a free ad-supported platform. However, Freevee is on its way out and will shut down in August as its content migrates over to Prime Video.
Despite its closure, Freevee users will still get to access shows on Prime Video without needing a Prime membership, which is a pretty sweet deal. It's a clear sign of the changing landscape where even ad-free viewing now has a price tag, as we’ve seen with other platforms like Disney+ and Netflix.
What's your take on streaming services' changes, and did you ever use Freevee? Let us know your thoughts!
