Brian Wilson, a founding member of The Beach Boys, has sadly passed away at 82 due to a neurocognitive disorder. His family mentioned, "We realize that we are sharing our grief with the world."

Wilson, who started The Beach Boys in 1962 with his brothers, cousin, and friend, had a notable connection to The Walt Disney Company. He featured in the 1965 film *The Monkey’s Uncle* performing alongside Annette Funicello.

His music was often seen on The Disney Channel, with songs paired with Disney animations on DTV. The Beach Boys’ tracks also appeared in multiple Disney TV shows, such as *WandaVision* and special episodes of *Home Improvement*.

In Disney theme parks, their songs were part of the background music at Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure from 2001 to 2012. Songs like "California Girls" and “Good Vibrations” were creatively parodied in Disney attractions.

To learn more about their story, you might want to check out a documentary on Disney+ titled *The Beach Boys*.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Wilson family.
