Exciting news! Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland in Walt Disney World is getting a new addition inspired by the Disney movie *Cars*. This area, called Piston Peak, will feature fresh theming, two new attractions, and more dining options.
Disney Imagineers have revealed details about the ride queues. One ride will take you through mountainous terrain in a thrilling race, starting at a lodge resembling the one in Piston Peak National Park. The second ride, a family-friendly attraction set in a ranger lodge, introduces a character named Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore, reminiscent of previous Disney cartoons.
Piston Peak will have unique elements, like architecture designed "for cars," and even subtle updates to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, incorporating water features and shade. We can’t wait to see how it enhances the Magic Kingdom experience.
