Boardwalk vs. Disney Springs

I’m trying to decide between the Boardwalk and Disney Springs for one of our non-park days on our upcoming trip. I know they both have fun things to do but I’m curious about your opinions on which one would make a better day.

between the two, which one has the better atmosphere/dining/and overall experience?

Disney Springs has more things overall, day and night. I feel that the Boardwalk comes alive at night, and right now, there is a bit of construction that will hopefully clear up by Christmas.

Also depends on how you're looking to get there. You could always check out the Boardwalk, and then take a bus to Disney Springs after checking it out.
