Big River Grille and Brewing Works Closed

Does anyone know any updates about what might replace Big River Grille and Brewing at Disney's Boardwalk? I know Disney sometimes has food trucks in front of it, but it seems like a big location for Disney to just leave empty.

Big River Grille and Brewing Works has been around since the 90s so it was sad to see it close.

There are already a lot of restaurants in that area so I'm curious if they'll end up replacing it with something entirely different. I do think Disney is lacking in sports bars so I wouldn't be surprised if they replaced it with another one. At this point, anything would be better than just parking a food truck in front of it and calling it a day.

Sometimes we would use this restaurant as an excuse to park at the Boardwalk resort to walk around EPCOT, etc.

Sad to see it go - as it was a nice place to get a bite. I still miss ESPN at the Boardwalk, which several people didn't care for. The service was great, and I enjoyed the theming.

I would love to see a nice place to get a burger that is a step up from the resort's quality. I also need a place to watch sports, but I guess they have that at Disney Springs dining options.
