Best Stops Along I-95 for Your Disney World Road Trip

We're gearing up for our road trip down I-95 to Disney World, and we're looking for the best stops along I-95 to make the journey memorable! We'd appreciate recommendations for family-friendly stops, including unique eateries, local hidden gems, scenic parks, or quirky attractions to help break up the trip.

We are heading out of Richmond, Virgina if that matters.

If you've experienced a road trip to Disney World along this route, what are your favorite "can't miss" stops on I-95? Bonus points if they help keep the kids entertained!

Are you taking your dogs to Disney World (if you have dogs?)

You might want to consider stops with dog parks, I know some Loves have dog parks, and the ever popular Buc-ee's allows dogs but not parks.

For sure stop at Buc-ee's in Florence, SC.

They are building another Buc-ee's near Savannah which is the next best stop between Florence Buc-ee's and the Florida ones in St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.

If we drive we stop in Pooler, GA -
Just the other week we stopped right outside in Jacksonville, FL.
TownePlace Suites Jacksonville Airport, we used Marriott Bonvoy points to stay for the evening with our dogs, Walt and Roy

It was a nice room, plenty big for the dogs, and us. Highly recommended Next morning we did hit up the Buc-ee's in St. Augustine a someone else mentioned and it was great. I highly recommend the biscuits from Buc-ees.

Another great place to stop is the Georgia rest stop. It has a replica Forest Gump bench in there. You never know what you might see there on your adventure down I-95 to Disney World. We saw this van when we stopped the other day, it was rainy...Didnt see anyone in the Traveling Vegan van, but they might have been sleeping.

I did find some loaded Potato Salad that was delicious as well at Buc-ee's!
