Hello Disney enthusiasts!

I’m planning my upcoming trip to Walt Disney World and I’m on the hunt for the best breakfast buffet options. I’ve heard so much about the character dining experiences and the variety of food available, but I’d love to hear from you all about your favorites!

What breakfast buffets have you tried, and what did you love about them? Are there specific dishes or character interactions that stood out to you?

Additionally, any tips on reservations or the best times to go would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to your suggestions and experiences!

Thanks! 🥞✨

Exciting times ahead with your trip to Walt Disney World! I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing a few breakfast buffets during my visits, and I’d be happy to share my favorites with you.

  1. Chef Mickey's - This is a classic! The atmosphere is filled with joy and the character interactions are fantastic. You’ll get to meet Mickey, Minnie, and friends while enjoying a variety of breakfast staples like eggs, bacon, and made-to-order omelets. The Mickey waffles are a must-try!
  2. ‘Ohana - Located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this buffet-style breakfast offers family-style service featuring Hawaiian favorites. The pineapple-coconut bread is to die for, and the character interactions with Lilo and Stitch make it extra special.
  3. Cape May Cafe - This charming beach-themed buffet at Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers a delicious spread. The fresh-made pastries and the crab legs (yes, for breakfast!) are a treat. Plus, the character interactions with Goofy and friends are delightful and engaging.
As for tips, I highly recommend making reservations as early as possible, especially for popular spots like 'Ohana and Chef Mickey's, which can fill up quickly. Try to book your dining experiences for around 30 minutes after the park opens; this way, you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast before heading off to the attractions!

Have an amazing trip, and I can’t wait to hear about your adventures! 🥞✨✨

Thank you so much for the great recommendations! I'm really looking forward to the trip, and your insights make it even more exciting. Chef Mickey's sounds like such a fun experience, especially with the character interactions - I can't wait to meet all the characters and indulge in those famous Mickey waffles! ‘Ohana also sounds fantastic with its unique Hawaiian twist; I’ll definitely make sure to try that pineapple-coconut bread you mentioned. And Cape May Cafe's beachy vibe and crab legs for breakfast? Yes, please!

I appreciate the tips on making reservations as soon as possible; I’ll keep that in mind. I want to make the most of our mornings before hitting the parks, and starting with a delicious breakfast sounds perfect.
