The Walt Disney Company delivered some exciting updates this week with one big surprise!

EPCOT

As we look forward to 2025, Disney is stirring things up with big changes. DinoLand's closing, Muppet Vision 3D bidding farewell, and the ongoing search for a new CEO are making headlines. There's always something buzzing in the Disney universe, so here are the week's top three stories!

It’s been an action-packed week for Disney! Out of our three stories, two were truly exciting while one left us pondering. First up, the sweetest news—Disney welcomes Baby Bakso, a Sumatran tiger cub, born at Animal Kingdom. Guests can now meet Bakso and his mom, Sohni, at the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

Bakso has been growing well, and Disney’s Tiger Tuesday online updates have made the journey thrilling to watch.

Our next stop is EPCOT for the Flower and Garden Festival! From March 5th to June 2nd, 2025, the festival will feature the Garden Rocks Concert Series, showcasing new and favorite artists. Highlights include performances by Tommy DeCarlo, 98 Degrees, and more! It’s a lineup you won’t want to miss.

The most surprising update is the transformation of the former Star Wars hotel, Galactic Starcruiser, into office space for Disney Imagineering. This space will support major upcoming projects like the Pueblo Esperanza land and more. Unfortunately, it won't be open to guests.

That's it for the major news this week! From greeting Baby Bakso to rocking out at EPCOT, to saying farewell to an empty Star Wars hotel, Disney's always full of surprises. What's your take on these announcements? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
