If you're planning to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, you might already know that some attractions need reservations. These include the unique experiences at Oga’s Cantina, Savi’s Workshop for lightsabers, and Droid Depot for droids. However, starting March 17, 2025, Droid Depot will no longer require reservations and will operate on a walk-up basis.

At Droid Depot, you can craft your very own droid, choosing between a BB-series or an R-series unit. After selecting your choice, you gather the necessary parts from the station and assemble your astromech. This experience costs $99.99 plus tax, which includes the droid, a carry box, and instructions. Additional add-ons like personality chips are also available for a fee.

Given that reservations won't be needed anymore, it's best to arrive early to avoid long wait times. If building a droid is high on your list, heading there first is a smart move.

Have you tried creating a droid at Disneyland before? Share your experience in the comments! Do you think this change will make your visit more spontaneous or might it lead to longer lines? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
