We've mentioned it before, and it's worth repeating—every day at Disney World offers something unique.
No matter how meticulously you plan, unexpected things may arise. So, staying flexible is key! If you're heading to Magic Kingdom soon, keep an eye on an important fireworks schedule update!
Heads up for those visiting Magic Kingdom shortly! The "Happily Ever After" fireworks showtimes are changing this weekend. Currently showing at 8 PM, they’ll shift to 8:30 PM on Sunday, March 9th, due to Daylight Savings Time. For the longer term, starting March 30th, 2025, the fireworks will be at 9 PM.
Showtimes will stay at 9 PM for the foreseeable future to match the changing daylight hours. Keep in mind, this isn’t the only upcoming change in Magic Kingdom. Here are a few updates:
- **Big Thunder Mountain Railroad** is temporarily closed for refurbishment.
- **Tom Sawyer Island** and the Rivers of America are closing permanently for a new Cars-themed area.
- Construction of the new **Villains Land** is underway.
- A new **DVC Lounge** is replacing the old Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade.
