Ever experienced a stay at the non-Disney, Disney-themed hotels?
Swan and Dolphin Hotel
Located in the EPCOT Resort area, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels offer many of the perks of Disney World Deluxe Resort stays but often at a lower rate, as they are owned by Marriott rather than Disney. Some big announcements have just been made about the Dolphin Hotel, so if you're considering a stay, here's what you need to know!
Shula’s Steakhouse Is Closing
In major updates for the Dolphin, Shula’s Steak House will be closing its doors permanently. Named after its original owner and football icon, Don Shula, the restaurant will be taking reservations until June 14th, 2025.
The eatery, celebrating the Miami Dolphins’ historic 1972 season, will be missed, but exciting new plans are in the works.
A New Restaurant Is Coming Soon
Stepping in is Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, adding a third Florida location to accompany existing ones in Miami and Delray Beach.
Though the opening date hasn't been set, this Michelin star chef’s restaurant is expected to open mid-summer. We can’t wait to indulge in some exceptional dining experiences at Disney World!
New Restaurant Menu Revealed
The restaurant promises a "reimagined modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse,” offering premium beef and seafood with unique global accents, decadent desserts, and top-tier beverages.
After sampling Bourbon Steak in Orange County, we're eagerly awaiting its arrival at the Dolphin! Disney World already features several world-class dining spots by Michelin-starred chefs, and this promises to be another favorite.
Are you excited about the new restaurant? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
