Disneyland Resort has seen quite a few closures lately, with rides, restaurants, and more undergoing refurbishments.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
While some rides have recently reopened, Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters, Silly Symphony Swings, and even the Disneyland Monorail are all still closed for refurbishment. Unfortunately, it looks like the list of Disneyland closures is getting even longer, as we spotted two more calendar updates that might impact your next trip.
If you’ve got an upcoming Disneyland trip planned, make sure you pay attention to these new closures! The Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition — where you can take aim and fire at nearly 100 targets during an old-time Wild West shootout — will be closing on July 6th with no current reopening date listed on the Disneyland website.

Not only that, but it looks like the Tinker Bell meet and greet at Pixie Hollow may also be closing for refurbishment. Though nothing is listed on the refurbishment calendar at this time, it shows no times available from July 5th to as far as the calendar goes.
This could just mean that the calendar has not yet been updated with meet-and-greet times after July 5th, but it might also mean that this meet-and-greet location will be closing for refurbishment. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep an eye on things and let you know of any changes.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters closed on April 13th with no set reopening date. On the Disneyland ride, you’ll take aim and fire your laser to defeat Zurg during a thrilling space battle!
Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters
In addition, the Silly Symphony Swings closed on April 27th with no confirmed reopening date. The Paradise Gardens Park ride takes you into the air to see Disney California Adventure from above!
Silly Symphony Swings
We’ll be on the lookout for even more Disneyland updates you need to know about. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
