Great news for Disney fans! The Astro Orbiter ride at Magic Kingdom has finally reopened after being temporarily closed for refurbishment since January 13th.

While this iconic attraction was being dismantled and refurbished elsewhere, Disney enthusiasts eagerly awaited its return. Recent testing hinted at its comeback, and we can now confirm that the Astro Orbiter is ready for guests to enjoy once again.

In other updates, several attractions across the parks have either closed for updates or are slated to close soon. Among them are the Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom, which is closed for an update, possibly related to the change in presidency, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is set to open again in 2026 with some exciting new elements. Over at EPCOT, Test Track is undergoing a major transformation and is set to reopen on July 22nd, 2025.

In Disney's Animal Kingdom, the beloved "It's Tough to Be a Bug" show is permanently closed to make room for the exciting new "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!" Meanwhile, Muppets fans will have to wait until 2026 for their next big thrill as Muppet*Vision 3D is out of commission to pave the way for a Monsters, Inc. themed-land.

With so many changes and updates, it seems Disney always has something fresh and exciting up its sleeve. What's your favorite Disney World attraction that you'd love to see revamped or returned? Share your thoughts in the comments!
