It's officially happening, and it's tough to say goodbye.
Muppet*Vision 3D
Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is closing to make room for a new Monsters, Inc. area. While Mama Melrose’s already shut down, on June 7th, both PizzeRizzo and Muppet*Vision 3D will close for good. We'll miss Muppet*Vision 3D dearly, even with the Muppets eventually taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. We’re not alone—Broadway star Andrew Barth Feldman shared his own emotional tribute to the attraction.
Feldman, an actor known for his role in Dear Evan Hansen and appearances in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and various films, crafted a heartfelt song and video dedicated to Muppet*Vision 3D. It perfectly captures the mixed feelings of excitement for the future and sadness for the past.
While the new Monsters, Inc. land sounds thrilling, saying farewell to Muppet*Vision 3D is bittersweet. At least we’ll soon see Kermit and friends on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
