5 Things That Should Be Banned at Disney World Restaurants
Picking a spot to eat at Disney World isn’t easy. You do the work—choose a restaurant, score that reservation, get seated—and then something happens that kills the vibe.
Some dining annoyances are out of our control, but others? Totally avoidable. Here are five things that should honestly be banned at Disney World restaurants:
1. Being Rude to Cast Members
It doesn’t matter if your reservation got messed up or your order is taking forever—being rude to Cast Members is never okay. They’re the magic-makers, not your personal complaint department.
2. Making Characters Uncomfortable
Whether you’re meeting Cinderella or Goofy, don’t say weird or inappropriate stuff to characters. It’s awkward for everyone, especially the kids watching. Characters are real people under those costumes—treat them with kindness!
3. Too-Dark Dining Rooms
We get it—mood lighting is a thing. But if I need my phone flashlight just to see what I ordered? No thanks. (Looking at you, Boma—though we still love the food!)
4. Camping at Tables Without Food
Saving a spot is one thing. But hogging a table for 20+ minutes with no food in sight? That’s just frustrating when others are trying to find a place to sit.
5. Outdoor Tables with Zero Shade
If we’re eating outside in Florida, give us umbrellas! Nobody wants to melt in the sun or eat with rain dripping onto their fries.
Let’s be real—Disney dining is part of the magic, but these pet peeves can zap the fun fast.
What’s your biggest Disney dining annoyance? What would YOU ban if you could? Let’s hear it!
