2025 is approaching, bringing numerous changes to Disney World.
EPCOT
Expect extensive construction at Disney World this year, leading to noticeable changes in the parks. If you plan to spend time in EPCOT, be prepared for increased crowds due to various factors!
In 2025, Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom will see the most construction, with Hollywood Studios likely next. While Test Track is currently closed, it will reopen this summer, making EPCOT the park with the least ongoing construction!
EPCOT
This is a stark contrast from a few years ago when EPCOT was dominated by construction walls while the other parks were mainly open. It seems EPCOT is finally enjoying a well-deserved moment of beauty after years of disruption. Frequent visitors may opt for the less obstructed park for easier navigation.
As for Test Track, the third version of this ride is set to debut in late summer 2025! Fans eager to experience this attraction might plan their trips for its opening or shortly after.

So far, from what we've seen while riding the Monorail, it appears the attraction will still have a single rider line. If you want a quick ride without seeing the new queue, the single rider line is your best bet!
EPCOT will also welcome a new lounge in 2025, especially appealing to fans of Spaceship Earth! Set to open in late spring 2025, it will be near the iconic attraction.

While EPCOT frequently hosts festivals, some weeks are without events, making the lounge a welcome addition. Concept art suggests it will offer great views of the park and be an ideal spot for fireworks!
Disney announced the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros will close for refurbishment on January 6th, with a planned reopening on March 15th.
Gran Fiesta Tour
We’re unsure why it’s closing, likely for maintenance. We're curious about potential changes when it reopens, and March visitors may find the Mexico Pavilion busier than anticipated.
Not new, but EPCOT festivals consistently draw large crowds! The busiest times are often during opening and closing weekends, or on weekends in general, making World Showcase particularly congested during these events.
