Can you believe MagicBands have been a Disney World staple for over 10 years? The latest upgrade, MagicBand+, steps up its game with lights, vibrations, and interactive features, but the price can reach up to $60. Before splurging, here are four things to know!

First, guests with Disney hotel reservations can snag these for a discount if ordered in advance. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can also get discounts in-person.

No need to buy a new one each trip; older bands may still work if linked to your My Disney Experience account. Plus, your phone can do almost everything a MagicBand does, such as serving as a ticket and room key with the app.

MagicBand+ needs charging for special features, but if it dies, basic functions like park entry still work. Some users report these features might stop after a while.

MagicBands continue to evolve with new designs, ensuring they're a must-have collectible. Stay updated with the Disney Food Blog! What do you think about investing in a MagicBand+ for your next Disney trip? Share your thoughts!
