When you're heading to a theme park like Disney World, you probably expect there'll be some rules to follow.
EPCOT
Things like no running, no horseplay, and being respectful are pretty standard. But at Disney World, particularly EPCOT, you'll find a few extra rules that might surprise you!
**Drinking Around The World Has A Specific Start Time**
Visiting EPCOT's World Showcase Pavilion for a drink is extremely popular—and understandably so. You can sample dining options from eleven different countries. If 'drinking around the world' is on your list, remember you can’t start until 11 AM since that's when most restaurants and bars open. Plan accordingly!

**Prepare For Motion Sickness Double Time**
If motion sickness is an issue for you, be cautious at EPCOT. The park is home to both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Mission: SPACE, which are notorious for causing motion sickness. Especially with Mission: SPACE, as it’s the only ride with sickness bags on board. Consider avoiding these attractions or bring some anti-nausea meds with you.
Mission: SPACE
**Want to Ride Cosmic Rewind? Rope Drop Might Be Best**
To ride Cosmic Rewind, you can buy a Lightning Lane Single Pass, which can add up, or wait in the standby line starting February 25th, as the virtual queue is ending. You might want to rope drop for the shortest wait times or hop in line right before closing.

**No Swords Allowed, But You Can Buy One**
You can't bring weapons into Disney World, and that includes toy models. But at EPCOT's Japan Pavilion, the Mitsukoshi store sells katanas. Although you can carry it around once bought, unsheathing it could catch security’s attention. The store can also ship it to your home if you prefer not to pack it in your luggage.
