If you're planning a trip to Disney World, make sure you're up to date on the latest closures! With FOUR new closures happening this week amidst ongoing construction, you won't want to find yourself unprepared.
In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Harambe Market will be closed from October 20th for a few months. This quick-service spot will leave a temporary gap but rest assured, there are still other tasty options like Flame Tree Barbecue.
Over in DinoLand, U.S.A., Disney is transforming the area into Pueblo Esperanza, a Tropical Americas-themed land. As a result, Dino Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites will be permanently closing on October 20th.
In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, "Vacation Fun," the original animated short with Mickey & Minnie, will temporarily close starting October 20th. On a positive note, it’s expected to reopen later this year.
At EPCOT, Spaceship Earth has been under routine refurbishment since August 25th but will make a comeback soon on October 25th.
Magic Kingdom has its share of closures too, from Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin undergoing some exciting upgrades, to the permanent closure of Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, paving the way for the new Cars-themed Piston Peak National Park.
It's a busy time before the holidays at Disney, but lots of good changes on the horizon. Have these updates impacted your trip plans? What's your opinion on all these transformations? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
