Traveling in Disney World can seem daunting, but staying on Disney property offers you free transport options! However, there are recurring transportation mistakes that folks make. It's crucial to be aware of these and learn how to avoid them.

Some Disney hotels have internal bus loops, which can confuse guests. These loops mean multiple bus stops within a large resort, possibly adding 30 minutes to an hour to your travel time if buses fill up early else. Hotels with these loops include Port Orleans Riverside, Caribbean Beach, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, and Coronado Springs.

Not giving yourself enough travel time is a common mistake. Always allow at least an hour to travel within Disney, especially for reservations, as transportation delays happen frequently.

Keep in mind that apart from some direct options, you'll usually pass through the Transportation and Ticket Center before reaching Magic Kingdom. If planning to arrive early, give yourself extra time to get from the parking area to the park gates.

The Express Monorail may not always be running, especially for early or quick visits to Magic Kingdom, so you should anticipate taking the Resort Monorail with more stops, or the Ferryboat.
