It was a thrilling day at Disney World as both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom have dropped virtual queues and now offer standby lines.
This change marks a first where no virtual queues exist at Disney World, although they might return in the future. During our visit to the parks, we noticed some interesting insights to share!
Both rides transitioned to standby lines on February 25th, adding to the Lightning Lane options.
Initially, there were significant fluctuations in wait times, with Cosmic Rewind reaching 170 minutes at one point. But average wait times settled around 60-70 minutes for Cosmic Rewind and 50-60 minutes for Tiana’s.
Interestingly, only Cosmic Rewind was open for Early Entry, with a steady 35-minute wait.
The organization at EPCOT's rope drop was impressive, with Cast Members keeping things calm and orderly.
Remember to follow Cast Member instructions if you plan to rope-drop these attractions, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.
