For years, Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios has been a top spot for little ones. This is where Disney Junior Play and Dance! happen, along with meet and greets featuring favorite Disney Junior stars like Fancy Nancy and Doc McStuffins. However, changes are on the horizon for Disney’s Cool Kid Summer event. While Disney Junior Play and Dance! will be temporarily unavailable, now the beloved meet and greets have MOVED to Echo Lake.
Interestingly, the characters are now found at Echo Lake, and it's curious that Disney moved them from their specially decorated original spots. Meeting Fancy Nancy was still delightful, but the backdrop felt a bit different.
This might just be a temporary shift due to the Cool Kid Summer event, but who knows? Potentially larger changes could be on the way, especially with the new Get Animated show starting soon and The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure moving in.
