I spend a lot of my time chatting passionately about Disney, so much so that my family often teases me with comments like, "You're going to Disney World...again?" But hey, my frequent visits aren't just for fun; they help me gather tips to share! So hear me out—these insights might just make your Disney trip smoother.

Let’s talk transportation from Orlando Airport to Disney World. You basically have two options: rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, or the Mears Connect shuttle. I’ve tried both, and I have a few pointers from my Uber experience I wasn't expecting.

1. No Simple Uber Option

For a simple, straightforward ride to my Disney hotel from the airport, I thought UberX was a fancy option. But, it's actually the most cost-effective! Despite the misleading name, UberX is the "regular" Uber everyone’s looking for.

2. Watch Those Prices

Pre-trip cost estimates on Uber might say $38, but with surge pricing, I ended up shelling out nearly $65 for the same ride! It's tough to budget for an Uber at Disney World since prices can be unpredictable.

3. Luck Plays a Role

I've also given Mears Connect a try, and while it can be more economical, it might also involve multiple stops. Interestingly, sometimes you'll get lucky with a non-stop ride! Whether you go for Uber or Mears, some patience and timing could work in your favor.

Thinking of planning a Disney trip soon? Small World Vacations can help find deals and curate the perfect plan for your visit. In the meantime, if you’ve got any ride-sharing experiences at Disney, I'd love to hear them in the comments. Do your tales echo mine, or do you have a different perspective? Let's discuss!
